The physical meaning of the commonly used parameters of a loudspeaker
The parameters of the speaker (horn) refer to the specific performance parameter values of the speakers (speakers) tested by the special loudspeaker (speaker) test system
Parameters mainly include: Z, Fo, eta 0, SPL, for Qts signs, Qms, Qes, Vas, Mms, Cms, Sd, BL, Xmax, Gap gauss. The following are the several parameters of its physical meaning.
1.1 Z: refers to the electrical resistance of a loudspeaker (speaker), including: rated impedance and dc impedance. (unit: ohm/ohm), usually the rated impedance.
The nominal impedance of the speaker (loudspeaker) is the minimum impedance modulus of the first maximum value of the impedance curve, which is the impedance value corresponding to the point B in figure 1.
It is the benchmark for calculating the electric power of a speaker.
Dc impedance DCR: refers to the impedance value tested by a dc signal when the coil is still.
What we usually call 4 o or 8 is the rated impedance.
1.2 Fo (minimum resonant frequency) refers to the frequency of the first maximum value of the impedance curve of the speaker.
Unit: Hertz (Hz).
The impedance curve of the speaker (speaker) is a loudspeaker (speaker) under normal working conditions. The impedance modulus of the loudspeaker (horn) is measured with constant current or constant pressure
The curve of change.
1.3 eta 0 (loudspeaker efficiency) : the ratio of loudspeaker (speaker) output power to input power.
1.4 SPL (sound pressure level) : it is the point on which the loudspeaker is separated by 1m from the speaker on the reference shaft at the voltage of the rated impedance 1W
Sound pressure produced. Unit: dB (dB).
1.5 Qts: the total quality of the speaker (speaker) due to numerical value.
1.6 Qms: mechanical quality of loudspeaker (speaker) due to numerical value.
1.7 Qes: the electrical quality of the speaker (speaker) due to numerical value.
1.8 Vas (the effective volume of the horn) : refers to the sound of the air in the rigid container with the sound of the speaker (speaker) unit
Unit: liter (L).
1.9 Mms (vibration quality) : refers to the total mass of the speakers (loudspeakers) participating in the vibration during the movement, including the part of the drum paper, the sound circle, and the elastic waves
And the air quality of vibration. Unit: gram.
1.10 Cms (lishun) : refers to the softness of the supporting parts of the speaker (horn) vibration system. The larger the value, the softer the entire vibration system of the speaker (speaker)
Bit: mm/Newton (mm/N).
1.11 Sd (vibration area) : refers to the effective vibration area of the drum paper/diaphragm during the vibration of the speaker (speaker). Unit: square meter (m2).
1.12 BL (magnetic) : the product of the gap magnetic induction intensity with the effective sound coil line.
1.13 Xmax: the linear stroke of the movement during the vibration process. Unit: mm.
